The two partners, Michael Came and Eddie Lai, each possesses well over 30 years’ of experience in the industry, are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as well as RICS Registered Valuers.
Michael worked for the UK Valuation Office and has served various senior positions in the private sector before forming the present consultancy. His specialisms include valuations for tax related issues, surveys and other general practice matters.
Eddie served a local government valuation department in London during the early stage of his career, followed by a succession of senior postings in the private sector amongst this was an extended assignment in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) and has a varied client base in Asia.
We are friendly, dependable and most importantly we take a flexible approach on your requirements. Unlike larger organisations, either of us can be reached directly via multi channels, and likewise we will frequently keep you updated on our progress.

As Registered RICS Valuers we are accredited to provide valuations for all types of properties, for purposes including probate, matrimonial, immigration, tax assessment and pre-purchase decision making.
We conduct mortgage valuations on behalf of several UK and overseas financial institutions, and we are particularly active within the prime Central London areas. We are on the panel of HSBC-UK dealing primarily with commercial properties.
A mortgage valuation is NOT a survey. It is conducted by the lender to ensure that the property offers sufficient security for lending.The RICS Homebuyer and Valuation Report is ideal for conventional residential properties that appear to be in reasonable condition.
Building Surveys (previously known as a Structural Survey) are for properties that have undergonesignificant remodelling such as walls removed, extensions built, loft converted etc. or properties where you intend to make structural alterations. Building Survey Reports do not include market valuations.
We provide valuation reports to all housing associations in connection with “staircasing”, re-sales and equity loan redemptions. Our clients include the Peabody Group, Family Mosaic, London & Quadrant, Chelmer Housing Partnership, A2Dominion, amongst many others.
